For the exhibition “Impressionists and Post-Impressionists. The birth of modern art”, which took place between February and May 2013 in the Sala Recoletos in Madrid, we did two videos. In the first one, “The revolution of colour. Impressionists and Post-Impressionists”, Guy Cogeval, president of the Museum d’Orsay, reflects on the importance of color in this pictorial period. In the second one, “Impressionism. Red grasslands”, Caroline Mathieu, scientific curator of the exhibition, presents a series of art master pieces such as “The Talisman” by Paul Sérusier.

We did a video for the exhibition “Lights of Bohemia. Artists, gypsies and the definition of the modern world”, of Mapfre Foundation (Sala Recoletos in Madrid), which took place between February and May 2013.
The video (“La Bohemia: Artist maltido”) has the presence of Sylvain Amic, curator of the exhibition, and Pablo Jiménez Burillo, also curator of the exhibition and director of the Institute of Culture of the Mapfre Foundation. FUNDACION MAPFRE: SERIES “DEAR THEO”

Fundación Mapfre has exposed several paintings of Vincent Van Gogh at its exhibitions “Impressionists and Post-Impressionists. The birth of modern art. Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay” and “Lights of Bohemia. Artists, gypsies and the definition of the modern world” , which took place between February and May 2013, in Madrid.
For this occassion, we produced and filmed three videos that are intended to give relevance to the correspondence between Vincent Van Gogh and his brother Theo in relation to his painting. Therefor we have selected three key letters written at the time that Van Gogh painted these paintings – “Self Portrait” (1985), “A pair of boots” (1886) and “The Ballroom of Arles” (1888) -, and which allow a more deeply understanding of his thoughts, both ethical, socially and artistically.
