The short film Sub Terrae, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes and produced by Rinoceronte Films, has obtained the Special Mention for Individual Work at the nineteenth edition of Albacete Abycine International Film Festival. The festival closed on Saturday, October 28th, in Sala Capitol.
The short film Sub Terrae will participate in the sixth edition of the Brazilian festival FRICINE. International SocioEnvironmental Film Festival.
This will be his second screening in the country after his passage through Cinecipó – Festival do Filme Insurgente, which took place in the city of Belo Horizonte between 14 and 17 September this year.
FRICINE will be held from 14 to 19 November in Nova Friburgo (Rio de Janeiro).
We are very pleased to announce that Sub Terrae is one of the seven short films selected to participate in the 19th “Ciudad de Soria” International Short Film Contest. This edition will be held from November 12th to 16th.

The Navarrese town of Berriozar celebrates this month the ninth edition of FICBE, International Festival of Social Themed Short Films. Sub Terrae has been selected to participate in this festival whose projections will take place the 26th and 27th at Berriozar Auditorium. On Saturday, the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony.
Today begins the 19th edition of Octubre Corto, which takes place in La Rioja. This edition will continue until next 28th of October.
Sub Terrae has been selected from about 800 works to participate in this festival, which collaborates with Goya Awards of the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. It will be shown next Thursday 26th at Teatro Cervantes in Arnedo and Filmoteca Rafael Azcona, located in Logroño.
The Albacete festival Abycine celebrates this year its nineteenth edition with an extensive program of sections and parallel activities. The short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes Sub Terrae is selected to be part of its programming, which will take place from 20th to 28th October this year.
Next Friday 20th October, at 18:15 p.m, in the frame of the 39th Montpellier’s Cinemed. Mediterranean International Film Festival, you will be able to watch the short film Sub Terrae.
After the screening will be held a debate with its director, Nayra Sanz Fuentes, to address issues related to the film.
The 26th edition of the dokumentART – European Film Festival will take place this October, between the 13th and 17th, in the German city of Neobrandeburgo. The films selected by this festival “tackle under an bigger scope the topic ‘future’ and deal with changing realities. They test and transcend the boundaries of their genre in exciting frontier region between tradition and avant-garde”.
In this frame will be projected Sub Terrae, the short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, who will be present to accompany the film.
The Special Jury Prize of the festival Cinespaña. Toulouse Spanish Film Festival, has fallen on Sub Terrae, the short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes.
This is the fourth prize awarded to the film after the achievements at the festivals Alcances (Best Short Film Award), Rural Film Fest (Best National Short Film Award “Ecofilm”) and Las Palmas International Film Festival (International Distribution Award “Digital 104”).
