SREC selects “Sub Terrae”

San Rafael en Corto Short Film Show (SREC), organized by Gran Angular, has already announced its selected works: in total 126 short films from twenty countries that can be viewed between December 4th and 10th in Santa Lucía( Las Palmas).

Among them is Sub Terrae, the short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, which adds a new national selection.

CORTADA 2017 with “Sub Terrae”

The short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, Sub Terrae, will participate in the XII Vitoria-Gasteiz Short Film Festival, CORTADA 2017, organized by the Vicerectorate of the of the UPV / EHU Álava Campus.

The next edition will be held next week, between November 28th and December 2nd.

“Sub Terrae” goes to Italy

Sub Terrae will be screened in Mestre (Venice), in the frame of the 20th Mestre Film Fest.

This is the eighth international selection of the short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, which has already been projected in Montpellier, Brandenburg, Arizona, Toulouse, Belo Horizonte and will also soon in Rio de Janeiro and Tehran.

“Sub Terrae” at the Irani festival Cinema Vérité

The short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes Sub Terrae will be seen in the frame of the eleventh edition of Cinema Vérité, Iran International Documentary Film Festival, in a new international selection of the film.

The festival will be held in the city of Tehran later this year, from 10th to 17th December.

“Sub Terrae” at l’Alternativa film festival

The short film Sub Terrae adds a new selection: in this case it is l’Alternativa. 24.º Festival de Cinema Independent de Barcelona, to be held between the 13th and 19th of November. This edition focuses on research, innovation and social commitment with a program of over 200 films from around the world.

“For a week, the festival will offer a complete program of projections and activities that defend diversity and invite to reflection. One more year, l’Alternativa bets on the creative independence of the author and the risk, with the objective of bringing to the public a cinema that is difficult to see in the conventional commercial circuits”.

“Sub Terrae” takes part in MINIDOC

This Friday, Sub Terrae can be seen in the Ethnographic Museum of Polán (Toledo), in the fourth edition of the MINIDOC contest organized by Fundación Carmen Arnau Muro.

The theme of this festival is about the ways of life, traditions, crafts and crafts, sustainable economy, respect for the environment and all aspects related to the diversity of human culture.

“Sub Terrae”, best ‘Aqua’ short film

We are happy to announce that the short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes Sub Terrae has been recognized with the best ‘Aqua’ section short film mention at Mediu Güeyu festival in Villaviciosa (Asturias).

This event celebrated its seventh edition last weekend trying to bring cinema closer to rural areas. Sub Terrae was selected for ‘Aqua’ along with Refugiados, by David Rodríguez Muñiz, and Trash, by Juan Silva.

“La ciudad oculta” recieves a grant from the Government of the Canary Islands

We are pleased to announce that the feature film La ciudad oculta, directed by Víctor Moreno and co-produced by El Viaje Films, Pomme Hurlante Films and Rinoceronte Films, has been selected to receive one of the grants for the production, development and finalization of Canarian audiovisual works for the year 2017, convened by the Government of the Canary Islands.

“Sub Terrae” to contest at ZINEBI

ZINEBI. Festival Internacional de Cine Documental y Cortometraje de Bilbao is one of the most veteran festivals in the state: this year, from 10 to 17 November, will be its 59th edition.

Sub Terrae has been selected to participate in its International Competition of Short Films among its more than 3,000 works received. The screening will be attended by the director of the film, Nayra Sanz Fuentes.

The poster of this edition has been realized by the designer Oscar Mariné, and it is starred by the American director, scriptwriter and actor John Huston in the 30 anniversary of his death.
