“The Hidden City” in Barcelona’s D’A film festival

The hidden city has been selected to participate in Barcelona’s D’A Film Festival Barcelona.

The film directed by Victor Moreno, who has already participated in the festival with his feature film Edificio España, will participate in the section “A collective impulse”. It will be screened tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1, at 8:00 pm in CCCB Teatre, and on Sunday, May 5, at 9:30 pm in Zumzeig Cinema, “The Hidden City” competes for the Audience Award, the OpenECAM Award and the Movistar + Award, and will feature in the screenings with the participation of the director.

“Sub Terrae”, exhibited in Arcosanti International Film Carnivale, Arizona

This Saturday, the short film by Nayra Sanz Fuentes «Sub Terrae» will be shown in Arcosanti International Film Carnivale, a festival held in the urban laboratory of Arcosanti.

Arcosanti is an experimental city located in the state of Arizona, in the United States. Since 1970, this city explores new ways of combining architecture and ecology with the aim of promoting social interaction and accessibility with the least impact on the environment.

Meeting with Nayra Sanz Fuentes in La Vorágine, Santander

A meeting will take place this Friday with the filmmaker Nayra Sanz Fuentes in the book shop La Vorágine, in Santander.

The meeting will take place in the contexto of the participated video workshop organised by Instituto crítico de (des)aprendizaje, in which Nayra will participate as a teacher.

During the event some of her works such as In Those Lands, Sub Terrae and Just Another Day will be shown.

“The Hidden City”, in cinemas from May 31st

The Hidden City, by Víctor Moreno, will be premiered in cinemas next May 31st with the distribution of Márgenes Cine!

The Hidden City is a co-production by El Viaje Films, Rinoceronte Films, Kino Pravda, Pomme Hurlante Films and dirk manthey film UG.

Ismailia Film Festival selects “In Those Lands”

In Those Lands, the short film produced by Rinoceronte Films, will participate this week in the Egyptian festival Ismailia Film Festival. The director Nayra Sanz Fuentes already participated in the previous edition of this festival with her previous work, Sub Terrae.

Ismailia Film Festival, which celebrates its 21st edition this year, begins this Wednesday and will run until April 16.

“Sub Terrae” will be shown this week in Espacio Enter Canarias

Today begins in TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes the event Espacio Enter Canarias, in whose section dedicated to cinema participates the short film Sub Terrae.

With free entry, Espacio Enter will take place in Cuarto Oscuro – TEA between today and Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

In addition, Made in Canarias short films will have a special screening on Saturday, April 6, at 4:00 p.m. in TEA’s Assembly Hall, with free admission after withdrawal of invitations in the downtown ticket office.
