Peru, Italy and Canada, upcoming destinations for “Sub Terrae”

The short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes Sub Terrae has recently obtained three new international selections…

The closest one in time will be Sembrando Cine, an environmental festival that takes place in Lima (Peru). On June 28 the short film will be screened at the Cultural Center of the BCR. Two screenings will follow in this same festival: on August 31 in Ventana Indiscreta – Cine Arte ULima and on September 11 at the Central Huancayo University.

Sub Terrae will also be present in the Maremetraggio section of the Italian ShorTS International Film Festival, which will take place from June 29 to July 7 in Trieste.

In addition, on July 27 the film will be shown in Montreal (Canada), at 9:00 pm and outdoors, in the short film section of Le Cinéma sous les étoiles, which celebrates its ninth edition this year.

New selections for “Sub Terrae”

In recent weeks we have met new selections of the short film Sub Terrae in several festivals. The next screening of Nayra Sanz Fuentes‘ work will be tomorrow, June 3, in Turin, at the 21st Environmental Film Festival Cinemambiente.

After that, Sub Terrae will be in Talavera de la Reina for the V Pávez Awards, which will be held between June 16 and 23, and will travel to Colombia to participate in the 4th FECIBogotá International Independent Film Fair, which will take place from June 13 to 23.

“Sub Terrae”, best short film in Rendibú arts festival

Last Friday, the short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes Sub Terrae received the prize for the best short film at the Rendibú arts festival, held every two years in the city of Murcia. With this award, the work produced by Rinoceronte Films adds fourteen recognitions in national and international competitions.

The short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes and produced by Rinoceronte Films, Sub Terrae, has been selected to participate in the section Ecoislas of FICMEC, the International Festival of Environmental Film of the Canary Islands, which takes place in Tenerife from May 25 to June 3.

New selection for “Sub Terrae”

We have just met a new selection for Sub Terrae, at the 20th Ciudad Real Short Film Festival, which will be held from June 18 to 23.

The short film directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes will be screened in the unofficial section next June 19, at Parque de Gasset in Ciudad Real. It will begin at 9:30 p.m.

“Sub Terrae” in the program “The best Canarian cinema of 2017” according to Alisios

Before the weekend starts, we would like to share the “Canarian May” of Asociación de cine Vértigo, which starts next Monday with the cycle The best Canarian cinema of 2017 according to Alisios magazine.

Within the frame of that cycle -which will be screened at the CICCA of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria-, on Monday the 14th there will be Sub Terrae, a short film produced by Rinoceronte Films, together with the works of Xurxo Chirro, Cándido Pérez de Armas, Dani Millán, David Pantaleón and Lamberto Guerra.

FICA 2018 selects “Sub Terrae”

Brazil, there we go! The International Festival of Cinema and Environmental Video, which celebrates its twentieth edition this year, has selected Sub Terrae. The event will take place from June 5th to 10th, and the short film by Nayra Sanz Fuentes will participate among the 14 works selected in its category.

Ecozine Film Festival will show “Sub Terrae”

Since 2008, Ecozine aims to accommodate “all those voices and looks which talk about our planet, our present and our future”.

We started the month of May with great news: Sub Terrae has received the Best Documentary Film Award at The Globe International Silent Film Festival!

This independent festival, which closed its third edition last night in Wisconsin, focuses on films made without dialogues or locutions. Its organizers intend to achieve “a greater understanding and recognition of the cinematographic language, of the image”.
