The short film “Un día cualquiera” -“Yet another day”-, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, will be projected at Theater Arniches of Alicante on the occasion of the International Women’s Day. Another six short films directed by women of different communities will be part of the sample. The projection will take place the 22nd of March at 7,30 pm, and it has been organized by Mediterrània Audiovisual with collaboration with CulturArts.

“AS OLD AS THE WORLD” WILL BE PROJECTED AT THE FILMOTECA OF ANDALUCÍA OF CÓRDOBA
The film “As Old as the World”, directed by Nayra and Javier Sanz Fuentes, will be projected at Filmoteca de Andalucía of Córdoba. It will be the 1st of March 2016 in the space “Sala Val Del Omar”, at 6.00 and at 8,30 pm.
“UN DÍA CUALQUIERA” -“YET ANOTHER DAY”- AT THE SPANISH CULTURAL IBEROAMERICANA COOPERATION CENTER OF MIAMI
On Wednesday 3 June, the short film “Un día cualquiera” -“Yet another day”-, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, will be proyected at the Spanish Cultural Iberoamerican Cooperation Center. It will be in the framework of the Week of the Canary Islands that is celebrated in this cultural institution. The short film will be presented along with the rest of this years catalogue “Canarias En Corto”.
“YET ANOTHER DAY”, DIRECTED BY NAYRA SANZ FUENTES, PARTICIPATES IN “MENTALIZARTE”- THE MENTAL DISEASE IN CINEMA
The short film “Yet another day”, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, will participate in “Mentalizarse. Mental Illness at the Movies.” After the screening of two short films there will be a roundtable held by Emiliano Allende (Director of Film Week Medina del Campo), Jonathan Martin (Technical of the Benito Menni Hospital Center and director of the short film “Panic”) and Nayra Sanz Fuentes. The purpose is to reflect on the social perception of mental illness and to try to approach people to this type of situations that tend to be surrounded by prejudices and stereotypes.
The meeting will be Thursday, October 9 at 7.00 pm at Bodegas Prado Rey (VI National Highway, 172 km, Rueda (Valladolid).
“UN DÍA CUALQUIERA” AT THE CULTURAL CENTER “LA BENEFICIENCIA, VALENCIA
On Thursday September 18 the short film “Un día cualquiera” -“Another Day”- will be projected at the Cultural Center “La Beneficencia” (C / Corona 36, Valencia). The screening will begin at 10.00 pm in the center courtyard 6.

“UN DÍA CUALQUIERA” AT THE CATALOGUE “CANARIAS EN CORTO 2014-2015”
We are very pleased to have been selected for the catalogue “Canarias en Corto 2014-2015” with the short film “Un día cualquiera” -“Another day”-, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes.
This will be the third time that one of our short films will be part of this fantastic program. In previous years the short film “Anniversary” directed by Javier Sanz Nayra & Fuentes, and “Things in Common”, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes were part of the selection.
“UN DÍA CUALQUIERA” -“ANOTHER DAY”- AT THE CENTRO DE CULTURA CONTEMPORÁNEA DE BARCELONA (CCCB)
The company “Marvin and Wayne”, dedicated to distribute short films, has been open for five years, and to celebrate this date they’ve organized a series of projections with several of the short films they have worked with.
On July 26, at 8.00 p.m., it will be projection, among others, of the short film “Un día cualquiera” -“Another day”-, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona (CCCB). Hope to see you there!
THE SHORTFILMS “ANNIVERSARY” AND “THINGS IN COMMON” AT THE PROJECT OF THE WORLD WOMEN’S DAY
From the 8th to the 14th of March will take place the Women’s Week. The cultural association “enBABIA” has organized a number of activities including the projection of different short films with topics related to women. Two of the films that will be projected are “Anniversary”, directed by Javier Sanz Nayra & Fuentes, and “Things in Common”, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes. It will be on Tuesday March 12th at 8:30 pm, in the Library Center Island of Fuerteventura.
THE SHORTFILMS “ENCOUNTER” AND “THINGS IN COMMON” AT THE CANARY FILM SERIES
The Ministry of Culture and the Heritage and Museums of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria has purchased a number of canary film titles to display at a cultural tour during two years, in order to publicize the work that the directors have done during 2008 and 2012. Within the sample can be viewed the short films “Encounter” and “Things in Common”, directed by Javier Sanz Nayra & Fuentes.
