We are very pleased to announce that the short film “Sub Terrae”, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, has won the award for the best short film at the Festival RuralFilmFest that took place from August 1 to 5, 2017!
The short film “Encounter” (2011), directed by Nayra and Javier Sanz Fuentes, will participate in the Big Bang Vintage Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, within the cycle “Tiempo hackeado”.
The screening will be next Tuesday, July 4 at 8:30 pm at Monopol theaters along with the film “Loveless” (1981), directed by Kathryn Bigelow.
The Association ALCES XXI (International Association of Spanish Literature and Cinema Century XXI) organizes its IV Conference in Spain, this time in the city of Zaragoza. Among the many cultural activities, they have prepared the session “Between boundaries and oblivion” with three short films (“Encounter”, “Yet another day” and “Sub Terrae”), the first one directed by Nayra and Javier Sanz Fuentes and the other two by Nayra Sanz Fuentes.
The screening will take place on Wednesday, July 5 in the Hall of Acts of the Residence Pignatelli of Zaragoza with the presence of Nayra Sanz Fuentes to be able to develop a subsequent colloquium.
The short film “Sub Terrae”, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, participates in the national selection of the 14th edition of DOCUMENTAMADRID. The projection will be on Thursday 11th -at 9.30 pm- and on Friday 12 -at 7.00 pm- at Cineteca (Matadero)

The new short film by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, “Sub Terrae”, produced by Rinoceronte Films, José Luis Sanz de Garnica and Javier Sanz Fuentes, participates in the selection of the 17th International Film Festival of Las Palmas. We are very happy to be present at this festival for the sixth time!
The film “As Old as the World”, directed by Nayra and Javier Sanz Fuentes, has been projected at Carleton Collage University in Minneapolis. The event was framed within the course “The contemporary Spanish Fictional Essay”, which was developed in the university during the winter semester, and in which, in addition to the presence of Nayra Sanz Fuentes, other authors were invited, such as Abu Ali / Toni Serra, co-director of the OVNI project (Unidentified video observatory); Pau Faus, director of the film “Alcaldesa”, and Elías León Siminiani, director of “Map”.
The short film “Yet another day”, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, will be projected on Friday May 27 along with four other works of Spanish filmmakers. The session, organized by the team of “Future Shorts Segovia”, takes place at the headquarters of the Union Casino, Royal Hotel Sirens. Admission is free and begins at 9.00 pm.

The short film “Un día cualquiera” -“Yet another day”-, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes, will participate at the Hidden Door Festival of Edimburgh (Scotland), that takes place in abandoned and hidden places of the city. The projection of the short film will be accompanied by a mental health workshop provided by the charity Conversations for Change. The festival will take place from the 27th of May to the 4th of June 2016, and “Yet another day” will be projected on Monday the 30 of May.
